B-K Lighting and TEKA Illumination, along with Hinds Hospice, were proud sponsors of the 4th Annual Angel Babies Golf Classic on Monday, October 19th at Fort Washington Country Club.

As with previous years, it was another exciting event for golf enthusiasts and community supporters of this well-deserving organization.

Your support of the 4th Annual Angel Babies Golf Classic helped the Hinds Hospice Angel Babies program to continue to provide perinatal hospice services and grief support to valley families who have experienced the loss of a baby.

Established in 1981, Hinds Hospice serves the Fresno, Madera and Merced county areas with numerous hospice care services. The mission of Hinds Hospice is to uphold the dignity and ease the suffering of the terminally ill while supporting their caregivers, and those who are grieving. Hinds Hospice maintains the only inpatient Hospice Home serving Fresno, Madera and Merced counties; provides a specialized pediatric hospice program for infants and children; provides services for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss; offers extensive bereavement support through the Hinds Hospice Center for Grief and Loss; formally educates medical residents and nursing students on end-of-life care; and is the only Hospice organization offering this wide array of services in the San Joaquin Valley.

Created in 2001, the Angel Babies program provides support for families whose unborn baby has been diagnosed with a terminal illness or whose baby has died. Angel Babies is comprised of a perinatal hospice program and a bereavement program. To date, the program has served over 2,000 Valley families through counseling sessions, support groups, phone calls, mailing and various other services. Since the Angel Babies program does not receive reimbursement from insurance companies, nor does it charge families for services provided, we rely on grants, donations from the community, and fundraising events such as this to support our mission.
